Schenectady County Public Health Services (SCPHS) has confirmed an employee, who later tested positive for COVID-19, worked at Tops American Grill in Rotterdam from 8am to 1pm on January 9 and 10, and from 8am to 12pm on January 11, 2021. SCPHS is working to  identify and quarantine close contacts of the individual. Although SCPHS believes there is a low risk of exposure, members of the public who dined at Tops during those times should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from that date and consider getting tested.

The Schenectady County Human Rights Commission (SCHRC) will host its annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. observance virtually on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2pm. This event is free, open to the public, and will stream live through the County’s youtube channel, www.youtube.com/SchenectadyCounty.

Asks Community for Help with Contact Tracing

Schenectady County launched a new website, www.schenectadycounty.com/vaccine, to keep residents up-to-date on the County’s vaccine program, which is run in accordance with NYS Department of Health and CDC guidelines.
