Schenectady County Community Update: Coronavirus
Below is an update from Schenectady County Public Health Services (SCPHS):
As of 5 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2020, Schenectady County has ZERO county residents with confirmed COVID-19. Currently, we are working with two organizations within our county that have confirmed cases of employees that are not county residents. We are providing these organizations, their employees, and their leadership with guidance on potential exposures to COVID-19 that aligns with the guidance provided by NYS Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control.
Due to these developments, SCPHS urges all community members that are concerned they may have symptoms of COVID-19, or are concerned that they may have been exposed to COVID-19, to contact their primary care provider's office for direction.
New York State has also established a COVID-19 hotline: 1-888-364-3065.
