In accordance with New York State's phased reopening plan and the Schenectady County Forward Initiative, the Schenectady County Department of Finance is open to the public by appointment only.
Residents of the County and the public at large are welcome to visit the Finance office for the payment of delinquent taxes, issuance of certificates of residency, or to request information pertaining to deeds, taxes and tax maps, or assessment rolls. Before physically travelling to the office, please call (518) 388-4260 or (518) 388-4262 as we may be able to address your questions over the phone.
