There are County Conservative Committee races in the following districts: Duanesburg 1-4; Glenville 12; Rotterdam 5, 6, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 21; and Schenectady 16, 25, 31-33, 41, 44 and 45. There is also a County Independence Committee race in Rotterdam 5. New Voting Machine Demonstrations The Board of Elections staff is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to assist any voter. Please feel free to stop by the office at any time for a personal voting machine demonstration.

We are here to serve you between 9AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday. We provide extended voting hours to serve the public in the fall, including some Saturday hours. These times and dates will be published in local newspapers, and on this web site. Voice mail is available when the office is closed.
The Board of Elections
The Board is comprised of two Commissioners of Elections, Brian L. Quail, Esq. (D) and Art Brassard (R). The board of elections and its staff serve the people of the county to ensure that elections and all matters related to elections are conducted effectively in an open fashion according to the New York State Election Law.
