NFL Punt, Pass, & Kick Competition
The Schenectady County Youth Bureau in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady and Union College Athletic Department sponsored the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick football competition at the Frank Bailey football field on October 4, 2010. More than 85 youth participated in the local event. The winners of the local event moved onto a regional competition in Hudson.

6&7 year old Group Team Champion
Based on their scores at the regional competition, Alex Gannon of Rotterdam (6&7 year old group) and Javer Tillman from Schenectady (14&15 year old group) advanced to the NFL Team Championship held at The New Meadowlands Stadium on December 12, 2010. Alex took first place in his age division with a score of 117’ 9”. Javer finished in third place.

The NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK (PPK) program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum. With more than three million boys and girls from around the country taking part in PPK competitions every year from July through January, it is one of the world's largest youth sports participation programs.
